Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

MusiBurma ("we") respects your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it when you use our website (musiburma.com) and our mobile app (MusiBurma).

What we collect

We collect anonymous usage data: which songs, artists, and albums you view. This is used to show popular and trending content and to improve the service. If you choose to include an email when submitting a song request, we store it only to notify you when that request is completed. No account is required to browse. The mobile app and website also use Google advertising services, which may collect device and advertising identifiers as described below.

Website and mobile app

View counts from the website and the app are stored together so that popular and trending sections reflect usage across all platforms.

How we use it

View counts are used only to rank and display popular and trending songs, artists, and albums. We do not sell your data. We do not share view-count data with third parties for marketing. Advertising on the app and website is handled by Google and is described in the Advertising section below.

Advertising

The MusiBurma Android app shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. The website (musiburma.com) may show ads served by Google AdSense. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device identifiers (including the Android Advertising ID), IP address, approximate location, and how you interact with ads. This information may be used to show personalized ads. We do not sell this data.

You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads). Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Storage

Usage data (e.g. view counts) is stored and processed using our backend infrastructure. We keep it only as long as needed to provide the service. Advertising data collected by Google is processed under Google’s policies.
